Chief Legal Officer, Head of Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Secretary
Our Chief Legal Officer, Head of Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Secretary is an exceptional lawyer and senior executive that is leading GitLab through the going public process and helping manage our growth as a public company. The Chief Legal Officer has successfully led a high growth technology Company and has at least two years of operating experience as Chief Legal Officer of a public company.
Contract Manager
Contract Managers are responsible for faciliating the contracting process for sales, procurement and non-sales engagements. Contract Managers partner with internal stakeholders while negotiating terms and conditions through closure.
Corporate Development
Corporate Development team members prospect, pursue and integrate acquisitions to accelerate GitLab’s roadmap and offer better tools to customers more quickly.
Director of Compliance
The Director of Compliance is responsible for providing counsel and guidance related to the design, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure GitLab’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Director of Legal
Directors of Legal advise clients across GitLab on legal matters related to their functional area of expertise, as well as lead teams comprised of attorneys and paralegals.
Environmental & Social Governance (ESG)
The ESG Team creates and maintains GitLab’s Corporate Sustainability strategy and programs. This includes ESG disclosures and public ESG reporting, identifying and prioritizing key issues to advance GitLab’s social and environmental goals, and creating partnerships with non-profit organizations that support GitLab’s values and mission.
Legal Counsel
The Legal Counsel job family is responsible for advising clients across GitLab on legal matters related to their functional area of expertise.
Legal Intern
Legal Interns work in GitLab Legal & Corporate Affairs on matters relating to employment, privacy and product, corporate affairs, and/or contracts.
Legal Operations
Legal Operations supports Legal & Corporate Affairs processes with a focus on defining and driving initiatives that improve the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Paralegal
Paralegal team members are responsible for supporting clients across GitLab on legal matters related to their functional area of expertise.
Public Policy
The Senior Director of Public Policy is responsible for creating and maintaining GitLab’s public policy engagement strategy; facilitating relationships across various governing bodies, authorities, commissions and councils, the purpose of which is to represent and further GitLab interests.
Risk Management & Dispute Resolution
The Risk Management and Dispute Resolution (RMDR) division of GitLab Legal and Corporate Affairs (LACA) is responsible for informing and guiding GitLab’s risk management strategies as well as managing internal and external investigations, litigation and other dispute resolution.
Vice President of Legal
A Vice President of Legal is responsible for designing, building, and leading a high functioning subject matter specific team within the larger Legal & Corporate Affairs team in alignment with GitLab values.
