Country Hiring Guidelines

Each country has unique rules and regulations affecting a company’s ability to conduct business in that country, as well as the employability of its citizens. These rules can be complex. Therefore, at this time we are unable to hire employees and contractors in the following locations:

  2. Crimea
  3. Cuba
  4. France
  5. Iran
  6. North Korea
  7. Portugal
  8. Spain
  9. Sudan
  10. Sweden
  11. Syria

In countries listed in our contract_types.yml file we have a payroll and can employ you as an employee. In all other countries we can hire you as a contractor.

Canada

GitLab will only hire candidates who have created a legal entity (registered company) in Canada. We are working on a contract template which will be added to the contracts page once completed. If you have any questions please reach out to the hiring team.

Vacancies
